Access requirements

Access requisites for the Degree in Primary Education

• -Those people having successfully passed their Bachiller and having passed the University Entrance Exam (PAU).
• -Those people from other education systems within the European Union or other countries with signed International Agreements with Spain in this respect who meet their respective country's University entrance requisites.
• -Those people coming from foreign education systems must have previously received official validation of their original qualification as equivalent to a Bachiller qualification.
• -Those people with Higher Technical qualifications which correspond to training in Vocational Training and Artistic Education or Higher Sport Technician, as laid down in the legislation.
• -Those people over 25 having passed the university access course for mature students.
• -Those people who accredit their professional or labour experience in compliance with the new regulations applied to people over the age of 40.
• -Those following the university access procedure for people over the age of 45.
• -Those in possession of a higher university qualification.

Access requisites for the Master in the Psychological Prevention and Intervention in Behaviour Problems in the Classroom

• -People in possession of an official Spanish university qualification or another qualification issued by a further education institution within the European Higher Education Area authorized by the issuing country as sufficient to gain access to a Master.
• -People in possession of a qualification from outside the European Higher Education Area exempt from validating their qualification, with a prior ratification by the University that they accredit a level of training equivalent to an official Spanish university qualification, authorized by the issuing country as sufficient to gain access to a postgraduate course.

Access requisites for Non-official Qualifications and Specialist Courses

• -People in possession of a Spanish Degree, Postgraduate qualification or Master or their official equivalents from other countries.
• -People in possession of degrees in engineering, architecture, diplomas in technical engineering or technical architecture, subject to the corresponding royal decrees by which potgraduate university qualifications are established in Article 8.3 del RD 56/2005.
• -People in possession of an officially validated foreign university qualification.
• -Admission to courses at the Valencian International University in no way implies the validation of any foreign qualification submitted, nor does it imply the recognition of courses other than for the purpose of studying a post graduate course.
• -Once the corresponding post graduate courses are successfully completed, the Master qualification will receive full validity.
• -Additionally, those people accrediting a relevant professional experience may gain access to this type of course, as may those people without the relevant qualification who wish to train in one of the areas on offer. In these cases the Valencian International University will issue the corresponding Diploma or Training Award Certificate.
